And more shelves . . .

They all live in this china cabinet in the living room - along with some other vintage things and a flock of white chickens - a story for another time . . .

You have quite a collection of Pine Cone china. I bet you can do a dinner for 28 people.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite china is the Syracuse poppies I used for Thanksgiving.
Oh fun! I had no idea there was such a collection out there. A friend found an orphan platter for me in the exact pattern (at a garage sale). I also love pine cone motifs from dishes, to accent pieces, stenciling on the walls and a pine cone bathroom. How nice to know there are others out there with the same obsession! What is my favorite set though? Using the amber glass Depression era pieces I guess. It is in the Patrician pattern.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing.
Enjoy your lovely dishes.
Fun collection! I have a set of boxed stationary with a pine cone motif, and at one time is used to be scented... My favorite dishes would have to be the ones I only have 2 of, because I found them at a tag sale and I don't know where to find more! And I love my blue and white Currier and Ives set too! --Lili

Hey! I have a cousin to your chickens :-)
ReplyDeleteThe pine cone dishes are pretty. Do you know the story of the silver pine cones? Your dishes reminded me of it. I have seen a few pieces like yours here and there but never an entire set.
