  3. This is my dream home. And now that I see all those hollyhocks, I want to go get some in every color!!! Glad the one I gave you survived. Next time you come out, you can have a deep red one. They are everywhere.
Now, I hope you plan on telling me where this new thrift shop is. North of here? In Canada? Ha. You know I love thrift shops. You always outdo me with the bargains.

  4. Oh, a pink house and Hollyhocks -- beautiful. Your photos are marvelous.
Isn't there some way of making a little doll from Hollyhock flowers? I seem to remember them.

  6. That is lovely. Now...I wonder if they painted the house that color to match the flowers OR did they plant flowers in a color that would look nice next to the house? LOL

  7. Jo, Don't know what happened, but I tried to comment on your other hollyhock post and it didn't show up. (Also it shows a link to one of my posts...sorry I don't know what happened!!) But anyway, I love your photography in both of these posts, it's such a feast for the eyes! ~Lili

  10. That is so lovely. Yesterday, we took our drive down Chuckanutt - drove through Fairhaven, and saw and Alaska Ferry dock, and I thought of you. We thoroughly enjoyed the drive, and the dinner - another beautiful spot in Washington state!

  11. I'm so happy with all these hollyhocks, I could cry. I don't know what it is about them, but some part of my soul swoons every single time I see one. Thank you for all the pictures.
