But we only found daffodils - and oh the daffodils we found. The tulip fields are just beginning to show color, so another few weeks and they will be in full bloom. The daffodils were almost gone by - we were glad that we went down when we did.
Some white daffodils planted in a yard . . .
The signs all say to stay on the paths and out of the flower fields - guess these poor folk never learned to read . . .
The only tulips in bloom were those planted in yards or in the landscaping of the farms that have tours. It is more protected and warm here, so they bloom sooner . . .
It was a lovely day - and beautiful flowers . . .
Lucky you ....getting to live near where they grow all these beauties! Amazing photos!

Our tulips are very slow emerging this year, also. I love the picture of the barn behind the daffodils. So glad you had such a lovely day, and that you shared it with us.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful pictures! We still have crocuses, no daffodils and definitely no tulips yet! It was even snowing again today!
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to imagine those vast fields of flowers. Thanks for showing them.
