Poppies!

A visit to Birch Bay one bright sunny day - and there were California Poppies blooming everywhere!




I could look at Poppies forever!

    The poppies are lovely.... My garden poppies have come & gone already but they were beautiful while they were here!!

    I love these poppies and the way they grow wild along the roadsides. I decided to plant some here too when we came home from seeing them.

    Our wild poppies are reddish and come up in late spring. Yours are lovely.

    I love poppies, so am going to try again to grow them here at the cottage. They must be perennials in your more temperate climate.
