This quilt some of you have seen before - it is one that Peg and I had worked on together. Peg finished hers long ago and has been using it - mine has taken me a bit longer. All I had to add was the last borders and I finally found the perfect fabrics.
Here it is before I found the border fabric . . .
Some close ups . . .
And here it is with the borders finally added . . .
I added a dark gray, thin inner border and a wider brown leaf print border. Just the thing for an autumn quilt.
It's so pretty! You'll be happy to pull that out in September - all done and ready for the back of a chair.
ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful. Way to go!
ReplyDeleteIt's fabulous, Jo - I sit in awe of your talent!
ReplyDeleteYour fabric choice for the border on this quilt is perfect. Good job!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness!! I LOVE this top!! It reads soft and mellow instead of the harsh oranges and greens used in a lot of fall quilts!
ReplyDeleteYes, and some of those crows you like so much!!!
Good for you getting those UFO's done!!!
