Sushine in my mailbox

The wonderful Lili - at Fearless Nesting - had a give-away about a week ago or so - and I was one of the lucky winners. She gave something to each person that left a comment -what a sweet thing to do. If you have not been to Fearless Nesting - your really are missing some of the fun in life. The blog is upbeat, clever and always entertaining. Do stop over - and let her know I sent you.

And here is what came in my mailbox - some sunshine from Maine.

A pretty little box - painted and decorated by Lili . . .

You can see the colors better in this photo - the design better in the other one . . .

Pretty pieces of seaglass that Lili finds on the beach - oh the colors look like pieces of the sea . . .

Here they are - on our dining room table - Ben (4 year old grandson) says they look like candy

And here is where they will live - in a crystal butter pat - just the place for a bit of sunshine from Maine. Thank you Lili.

I think red sea glass is not very common.....so that is a wonderful piece for her to include. The box is terrific, too. Congrats on your win!

Awww Jo, you're sweet for all your kind words for me. Oh, and the one that looks like red...it's orange...red is extremely rare and I have yet to find one of those! Orange is a little rare too though. Tell Ben we actually have candy here that looks like tiny beach pebbles! ~Lili

So sweet. We always look for sea glass. Blue is the hardest to find.
Very nice to receive.

I think that is a real treasure! I love seaglass and have a little in a "Zen" bowl.
I'd love to visit Lili---seems I can hardly get around to blogs at all these days! (I did better at that when I worked part-time instead of full-time!)
