Cottages in Birch Bay

There are so many cute cottages in Birch Bay, many of them built before it was such a big tourist attraction. We meandered down the street, stopping just about every few feet to get photos of the cottages. Here are some of my favorites.

I love the look of the weathered boards . . .

With a metal crab . . .

Darling cottages in perfect colors . . .

With a big fish . . .

A cute stone cottage . . .

One of my favorites . . .and I love the fence . . .

I love red houses - this one has sheets covering the sofas - so they are still gone for the winter . .

Someone from a farm built this summer cottage . . .

And some one needed a Lotta Rest . . .

This one has seen better days - it was one of my favorites though . . .

This may belong to the Le Hama Jewelry family . . .

Aa good place to spend a leisurely summer day . . .

Lovely . . .

And one cottage named Esther K . . .

Cute sign . . .

And two of the cutest chairs I ever saw!!

Wouldn't you just love to spend a week or two in one of these cabins?

I could spend the rest of my life in any one of those cottages. I would hate to think how much they cost LOL.

I truly love these sweet LITTLE cottages! Built back in the day when life was simple... before everyone thought that everything had to be HUGE!

There is definitely something about cottages at the beach. These are particularly appealing, and yes, I'd love to spend some recharging time in any one of them. This post is making me long for some time by the ocean.
