I've tried to grow Lupines here at the cottage without much success, but I so love them. We see them along the roads in the spring while travelling. Beauties!
Yes we had amazing wild flowers here due to a very late and wet spring I could not get enough of them! These purple ones are very pretty. But now fall has arrived and our colors are changing.

We don't have much in the way of wildflowers in our area, so that makes it a real treat when I see photos of them on blogs like yours. Thanks!

ReplyDeleteThe color on the lupines is so very vibrant. Wish I had some of those in my garden. Lovely!

Those are sooooo beautiful! Nothing can beat that color!
ReplyDeleteI love wildflowers and your photos are gorgeous! Love the color!
ReplyDeleteYes they were amazing here too this year! Ours bloom early summer, (mid June) wondered if that's the same as where you are. ~Lili
ReplyDeleteI have a few lupines in the yard and I just love how elegant and tall they stand but to see a whole field of them...wow, that would be amazing!
ReplyDeleteI have seen them in your lovely pictures. Our prettiest flowers this time of year are spider lilies along the forest floor and plumes of grass.
