Look what my cousins made for me!
While I was sick in bed with the flu, a package came in the mail. Don opened it and said, "It is a Christmas Village that you ordered". I hadn't ordered a Christmas Village - but I knew right away that it must be the box I was expecting from my cousins in Oregon.
When I was able to be out of bed from that nasty flu I got a good look at the village - and what a village it is!! Such detail and so many interesting things on it. Just take a look. Come on in.
There is the cutest village - all decorated for christmas with snow and trees and even Santa going down the chimney. All of this is hand made by my cousins Cat and Linda, with lots of cute vintage things. I love the candy canes on the doors and windows and the trees with snow on them.
And a group of children playing in the snow. We put this on the coffee table and Ben kneels down in front of it and talks to the little kids in the snow.
A close up of one of the houses - candy canes for shutters and sparkly snow on the roof . . .

They did a fantastic job. Love the pinecone elf, his shoes are great. What a wonderful present. I hope you are feeling better and the flu has passed. I wish you and your family a blessed Christmas.
