Pumpkins and Spice - step one

Have you met Peg yet? She and I live across the border from each other - and we are doing a quilt together - each on our own side of the border. I wrote about it on my last post

We have both finished our first week's assignment and posted on our new blog, Cross-Border Quilters. Check out our progress. We will be chatting every Tuesday morning and deciding on the next step for the quilt.

What a terrific idea - to have a companion to share quilting with, across the borders.. I LOVED the pictures of the frost flowers .. I don't think I've ever seen that before, thanks for sharing. - and the mountains are breath taking..(I live in South Georgia)

You know, I popped over to read about your childhood adventures (via your link Growing Up In Alaska) and really enjoyed all the photos and stories.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today - it was great to hear from you!!

Happy Friday!! xx's

Hi Jo. It looks like you are planning some fun with these panels. They do look great. Love the idea of doing it with a friend and sharing a blog to show your progress. I will keep watch with interest.

If this panel is any indication, the quilts are going to knock our socks off!
