Sew Gal is having a wonderful christmas quilt show and contest - be sure and browse all the fabulous quilts over there. My entry is a wallhanging that I love - I must love it - I've made 8 of them. The first year I made 6 - for friends and cousins - and then one more on commission. My youngest daughter loved the wallhanging so much, so I had to make her one more. These are all hand quilted - some were a little different, variations on the ribbons, etc. I really enjoyed making them and someday I might make one for me.

Oh my dear! You've just got to keep one for yourself. I'm in love with the flowing ribbons and am a little bit partial to the one with the ruby red background.
What a beautiful wallhanging! I love your blog and am wishing you and everyone reading a peaceful, restful holiday season and a very happy new year! May your new year be bright with quilt projects!
