Clouds

Friday was a perfect day - Don got off work by 1 and we headed out for shopping and some adventure.  It was gloriously sunny - and that is especially nice when the forecast has been calling for rain.  The sky was the brightest blue and there were big puffy white clouds - what our family calls Wisconsin clouds.

I am fascinated with the way clouds pile up over the mountains - each on their own flat column of warm air.

Piles and piles of clouds . . .

 Each view is different . . .

Miles and Miles of clouds . . .
Do you have a favorite cloud photo?

Clouds always fascinate me too Jo! I often think I see messages in them (well at least certain shapes that may relate to something going on that day), lest someone may get the impression I'm a little woo woo, which I admit I have been known to be at times! Those are some nice puffy whites you had there, very pretty! ~Lili

Yes, the kind where as a child I could lay on my back in the yard and see animals, etc. but my current favorites now are when my grandchildren lay on their back and see the exact same animals.
Nature is breathtaking!

I like the second one you took. GORGEOUS!

This reminds me of the Joni Mitchell song, "Both Sides Now," that Judy Collins made famous.

I could look at clouds all day. I often catch myself taking pictures of them because I love to go sky walking.

XO,

Sheila :-)
