What Crows Do In The Summer Time

They land in the parking lot and clean up after the humans . . .

They first tame the wild and ferocious jelly packet . . .

They peck at it . . .

Next a lecture - please don't throw your litter about . . .

Then they take if off to the garbage - shame humans - shame!

Thank you crows!

And while they are flying about trying to open random jelly packs, they cr*p on my car that I just got washed!

If they want a full breakfast to go with the jelly, they fly on over here to help themselves to the eggs that my silly ducks lay out in the open.

We have big Jungle Crows in Tokyo and they are very smart. When people are careless with putting out the trash, the crows spread it all over the neighborhood. Then the neighbors say, "We have a crow problem". Oh no we don't! It is a "people problem".
By the way, I love your slide show. I can't even concentrate on tthe comment!

I love crows, they really are so smart and they never forget if you do something to make them mad. They have been taunting Henri here for a few years by waking him up each morning crowing right outside our bedroom window. He doesn't share my affection for them. This was a really cute post Jo, loved your take on the whole situation!

Funny, lots of people don't like crows. I adore them, as I find them a bit mysterious, and I love their cackeling too.
