Sunset On The Bluffs Above the Bay

This is one of our favorite picnic spots - and recently we were driving past just at Sunset and I got some fabulous pictures . . .

I caught this little plane flying off to the islands . . .

The colors were glorious !

Then as we drove back towards home we noticed the colors changing
and become more dramatic . . .

So we pulled into a parking lot and were stunned by the colors . . .

I could have taken a thousand pictures - it was an amazing evening!

I love colorful sunsets and sunrises - but sunsets more so because they bode well for the next day! Glorious pics!

Using the new camera I see. My camera came back in excellent working condition. Problem after its swim was the battery went dead.
Your sunset shots are fabulous as usual your eye is great.

Beautiful pictures Jo! The colors are so stunning. The other day we saw similar colors as the sun was setting as we were headed home. One day, I hope to take some pictures of the sun rising as I'm driving to work.

Your photos are absolutely gorgeous! When I lived in Arizona we had beautiful sunsets, too. What a glorious day you must have had. I like all your flowers in your last post. Those fushias are so colorful. Thanks for sharing.

Yes dramatic colors are right Jo! I just love the way they play off the clouds. (I just received your book in the mail today and already I read the chapter about Perry the parrot and you had me laughing at all his antics and you kids trying so hard not to laugh at him! I seldom start a book at the beginning just so you know.) ~Lili
