WHAT I DID AT CHRISTMAS

Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate? Hot chocolate - that other stuff is slick and slimy!!!


Does Santa wrap presents or set them under the tree?
He leaves them under the tree unwrapped - "he" is much too tired to wrap them after it took him all evening to put them together.

Colored lights on tree or white?Colored lights on the big tree - and bubble lights - and ball lights - give me color - but on the teddy bear tree, only white lights - and then great big colored lights outdoors.

When do you put your decorations up?
Right after thanksgiving - sometimes starting even on thanksgiving night.


What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)?
Turkey, turkey and more turkey!

Favorite Holiday memory as a child:
Isn't it sad - but I don't have one.

When and how did you learn the truth about Santa?
hmm - never believed in Santa - see question above.

Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve?
We open one on christmas eve - the rest on christmas morning.



How do you decorate your Christmas tree?
Don puts up the trees and puts on the lights - we do the rest together. When the kids were at home we put the tree up on Dec. 11 - our youngest daughter's birthday - and the kids did all the ornaments. We have ornaments collected over the years - some I made - some the kids made - some friends gave to us - some we bought cuz we liked them.

Can you ice skate?I usta could - when I was a kid - haven't even attempted it for years - and won't now - ever, don't want to break something.


Do you remember your favorite gift?
A bright red dress.


What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you?
Family!!!!!

Spumoni ice cream



What is your favorite tradition?
Baking cookies and filling boxes with them to take to friends on christmas eve.

Which do you prefer, Giving or Receiving?
I adore buying things for people -searching out the best thing for them - but I guess I do like to get a gift too.
